I am a visual artist, a nationally recognized poet, and an organizer.
As a visual artist, I have been in numerous juried group shows, primarily for printmaking and painting. My main practice is in printmaking, but I am very interested in expanding into performance art. I am a senior at the Washington University in St. Louis Sam Fox School For Art and Design.
As a poet, I have competed at collegiate team nationals, Women of the World individual adult nationals, and most recent at adult team nationals, where my team was ranked among the 15 best teams in the nation. I have featured at Dartmouth College, in Worcester, MA, and at the Louder Than A Bomb teen poetry festival.
As an organizer, I have put together art fairs, and built WU-SLam, Washington University Poetry Slam from nonexistence into one of the strongest, most sustainable poetry scenes in the nation.
